Why Frontdoor Benefits
Last year, over $100B in government benefits went unclaimed. Too often, trying to access benefits can feel like a full-time job – eligible people hit dead end after dead end, from complicated forms to shifting eligibility rules and more. At the same time, 1 in 8 Americans are fighting to put food on the table every day. At Frontdoor Benefits, we're building a digital front door for America's social safety net, making it easy for eligible people to access benefits.
What we do
We build digital navigation for public benefits – from eligibility to enrollment. We offer easy-to-use, mobile friendly applications and support for benefits, starting with SNAP/EBT (i.e., food stamps) – and we're building in partnership with the players that have a stake in benefits access, from grocery stores / EBT retailers to health plans and government.
Our leadership
We're Charlotte and Ben – we're the co-founders of Frontdoor Benefits. We've worked in safety net innovation for 20+ years across the public, private, and social sectors. From the Connecticut Governor's Office to Code for America's GetCalfresh, we've helped millions of families navigate the safety net. Today, we're building Frontdoor Benefits for and with people like you.
